I am new to Ubuntu and was wondering if after I have all the files in Ubuntu that I want to import from windows if I can safely remove Windows completely.

I want all my music files (which I have) pictures (which I am working on) and Outlook Express address book and emails (still working on this).

It is nice to have Windows & Linux but I only need one operating system. Both systems are depleting my hard drive space.

Thanks.

Integrating eAccelerator Into PHP5 (Fedora 7)

This guide explains how to integrate eAccelerator into PHP5 on a Fedora 7 system. From the eAccelerator project page: “eAccelerator
is a free open-source PHP accelerator, optimizer, and dynamic content
cache. It increases the performance of PHP scripts by caching them in
their compiled state, so that the overhead of compiling is almost
completely eliminated. It also optimizes scripts to speed up their
execution. eAccelerator typically reduces server load and increases the
speed of your PHP code by 1-10 times.”

Chrooted SFTP With MySecureShell On Debian Etch

This tutorial shows how to install MySecureShell
on a Debian Etch system. MySecureShell is an SFTP server that is based
on OpenSSH and can be configured in many ways, e.g. it has support for
chrooting users into their homedirs or for limiting upload-/download
bandwidths. MySecureShell makes SFTP available for users that do not
have shell access so that these users do not have to use the insecure
FTP protocol anymore.
